The meeting presenter / speaker will need to use a slide advancer to wirelessly advance the Powerpoint slides during the meeting. All meetings where a presenter is live on-site at the venue will need one of these. On occasion the presenter or representative will have their own but this is not always the case. Many times the client will order one from us or it will be included in the package. However there are many times the advancer will not be on the order and they will unknowingly need one added on-site. We request all our contracted techs have one with them for every engagement.
This device is simple to use. Simply pull the USB attachment out of the bottom of the device and plug it into the USB port on the laptop with the presentation. The laptop should automatically recognize the device and automatically connect. There have been some issues while using a USB-C attachment for laptops without an direct USB port input. To fix this you could try another USB-C to USB & HDMI attachment if you have one available. If this doesn't work there is nothing that can be done. The presenter will have to manually advance the slides on the laptop.
(I have found the Mouse controlled advancers work better with the USB-C adapters listed below)
