The Epson Powerlite WXGA type of projectors are the recommended projector for our meetings. This projector is thin, clear, bright and short throw projector. Perfect for 99% of all our engagements.

Any short throw professional name brand bulb or laser projectors that are at least 2500 lumens (ANSI) will work for our meetings. Some of the major issues clients see with projectors is the projector needs too be far back due to it being a long throw (standard) projector or its not bright enough or pixelated. Even some good professional projectors are not good for meetings because of the throw distance. Your projector should be able to fill a 80 inch screen from only 6-7 feet away at the most. Most meeting rooms we setup in doesn't have a lot of room for a lot of distance from the screen and projector. The image below the projector shows where your projector should be.

This is the projector I use for meetings. I have two of them that fit in my Wenger backpack I carry to all engagements I work. After going through many projectors, this is the one I found to be the best for specs and size.

Here is an excellent resource when trying to decide what projector will work for meeting engagements. You want to stay within 6-7 foot (or less) from the projector and have at least 2500 lumens (ANSI) of light. Just a reminder, some of the cheap off-branded projectors on Amazon and other sites will say many more lumens then they actually are.

This video is excellent to explain mistakes when buying a projector. We use projectors in well lit, small rooms. LED & standard throw projectors WILL NOT WORK! You will need a "short throw projector". Ultra Short Throw will work, however it may be a tripping hazard when there is little walking room between the food table & screen and may require a particular screen. There are screens that act differently. We do not allow cloth screens! The light will just pass right through the screen creating a dim image. Please watch this video for more information...
